In the beginning
The Rake visits the award-winning wool farm that provides raw materials for the finest Ermenegildo Zegna suits.
The Rake has been showcasing – both editorially and in person, of course - the finest suiting a man can buy from the outset. Recently, though, we decided we wanted to get to the source; to find out more about the earliest stage in the process of producing a beautiful quality three-piece. With that goal in mind, we asked our friends at Ermenegildo Zegna to show us around the multi-award-winning Glen Stuart Farm, Tasmania - one of the Italian style giant’s major sources of wool. As owners of the current issue of The Rake know, we shot a model there, decked out in fine Winter Zegna finery; meanwhile, expect a full feature about our experiences at the farm in a forthcoming issue of The Rake. In the meantime, click below to witness our experiences at the birthplace of the finest threads money can buy.
